Questions

Q: How do I download Adobe Acrobat Reader?
A: If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader downloaded or you are using version 4.0 or less, please go to www.adobe.com to download the latest version.

Q: I have already downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader, but when I try and download a PDF file the screen comes up black or blank?
A: Please try right clicking on the link and choosing Save Target As. You will want to save the File to your desktop, and then try left clicking on the new icon on your desktop

Q: I use Webtv and am unable to download your PDF files?
A: Webtv users are not able to download PDF files. You will have to use the Adobe conversion module to view these files. You will have to take the address of the PDF file and place it in the address line of the Adobe link that is provided for you on our web page.

Q: When I click on a PDF file I get the error message "File does not begin with %PDF". What can I do?
A: ***Please note these instructions will not work if you are using an MSN browser.

Certain builds of Netscape, Internet Explorer and AOL do not properly display embedded PDF files, even if Acrobat Reader is installed. To get around this Adobe recommends configuring Acrobat as a helper, not a plug-in, here's how you do it:

1) Exit from Netscape, Internet Explorer and/or AOL.

2) Start Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. ( You can find your adobe application by going to your start menu and searching your programs.)

3) Choose Edit > Preferences > Internet (Acrobat 6.0 or Acrobat Reader 6.0)
or
Choose Edit > Preferences > Options (Acrobat 5.x or Acrobat Reader 5.x)
or
choose File > Preferences > General (Acrobat 4.x or Acrobat Reader 4.x).

4) In the Options section, deselect Display PDF in Browser (Acrobat 5.x & 6.0 or Acrobat Reader 5.x and 6.0)
or
deselect Web Browser Integration (Acrobat 4.x or Acrobat Reader 4.x).

5) Click OK, and then exit from Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.

6) Restart Netscape, Internet Explorer or AOL.

Note: The next time you select a link to a PDF file in Internet Explorer and AOL, a dialog box will prompt you to specify what to do with the file. If you select "Open this file from its current location," Internet Explorer and AOL open the PDF file in Acrobat 4.0 or later or Acrobat Reader 4.0 or later as a helper application. If you select "Save this file to disk," Internet Explorer saves the PDF file to your hard disk, from where you can open it later.
